Best firewall.
ZoneAlarm Pro is the top-rated firewall program by almost every source that has reviewed the program. ZoneAlarm includes identity theft protection, spy site blocking and network protection. It also blocks popup ads, screens e-mail and prevents itself from being shut down or disabled by outside sources. Reviews say that ZoneAlarm is user-friendly; the interface is easy to understand. We did read some reports that ZoneAlarm Pro can conflict with other software, however. A free version of ZoneAlarm is available, but the latest reviews say the free version isn’t as good as others
Alternative firewall.
In many reviews, Outpost Firewall Pro ranks as the number two firewall compared to ZoneAlarm Pro. If you’ve had trouble with ZoneAlarm Pro, Outpost Pro is the best alternative. Outpost Pro will also run under operating systems as old as Windows 98, while ZoneAlarm supports only Windows 2000 and later. Like ZoneAlarm, the program performs very well in leak tests, and it protects your computer against hackers and identity theft. It also blocks attempts to deactivate it.
Best budget firewall.
In reviews, Kerio Personal Firewall 4 isn’t as effective as ZoneAlarm Pro or Outpost in blocking leak tests, but does better than most free firewalls and has more features. Three review sources recommend Kerio Personal Firewall for those on a budget. However, reviews don’t rank it higher than ZoneAlarm Pro or Outpost Pro, which don’t cost much more. Kerio includes a popup blocker and banner-ad blocker, and reviews say it is particularly easy to use.
Best free firewall.
PC Magazine in particular is enthusiastic about Comodo Personal Firewall, saying it “works as well as all but the best for-pay firewalls.” The magazine also likes Comodo’s interface. In leak testing at Firewall Leak Tester, Comodo outperformed the free version of ZoneAlarm, but finished below ZoneAlarm Pro, Outpost Pro and Kerio Personal Firewall. If you already have a hardware firewall (like a wired or wireless router), reviews say you can get by with a free firewall like Comodo.

Hackers invaded iPhone’s Systems
As mobile phones’ operating systems become more like a personal computer(hand-held), so are the chances of being attack by hackers who understand Mac OS structure and vulnerabilities.
So Apple launch its famous handset, iPhone which made a huge impact in the mobile industry. With the success of iPod and its video counterpart, iPhones has the combination of an iPod, its video and a good mobile handset. With its huge memory capability, PDA architecture-like features and new navigational technology(palm navigation command), it is a base for personal as well as corporate information. And so, more and more people are becoming inclined with iPhones and so are the never-ending hackers.
The iPhone runs the Mac OS X operating system and certain parts of the OS has been included in the iPhone package which has vulnerability issues that Mac-Hackers aims to target. Whether from wireless transfer to Safari iNet Browsers, exploits of iPhone proved that it is not secure or needs more security upon deployment. Here is a video of the attack and how hackers invade iPhone’s systems to capture personal and confidential files. (http://www.securityevaluators.com/iphone/)
The Symbian OS have suffered damage to hackers because of its vulnerable OS structure and the huge resources of Symbian hackers worldwide. As the number 1 mobile OS, Symbian acknowledge the fact that their OS today needs huge security reinforcements so that it’ll keep its market on-hold. Nokia and Sony Ericsson are cooperating with Symbian in developing new ways of protecting their products and their market.
Though attacks on phone are seldom and inflict small damage, sooner or later it will become a huge disaster if not prevented. This is a sign that hackers have entered iPhone’s system and will continue to delve into if Apple don’t make any stand against this.
